Farnborough Youth for Christ was launched in November 2017 and seeks to transform the lives of young people within the community by using Sport, (Football) Mentoring, and other activities to help young people engage with the Christian faith, raise their aspirations, learn life skills and develop social responsibility. Building on existing projects between the local church and schools, further projects include developing a youth café and support for children who lack confidence in reading.

Farnborough Youth for Christ is headed by Director, Mark McGowan, and a team of volunteers. Mark was recently awarded a Charles Holland National Brave Briton Award for being a Community Champion – a member of the public who has made a significant or inspirational contribution to their community.
