Below are a few questions for you to chat about off the back of our video on the topic of ‘love one another’.
How often do you pay attention to what you say?
Have you ever been hurt by someone’s words?
Have you ever been helped and encouraged by someone’s words?
Have you ever said something to someone that you regret?
Has anyone ever done anything really selfless for you?
Have you ever seen anyone make a really big sacrifice?
PRAY:
Here is an activity idea to get you praying on the theme of ‘love one another’.
Think of a person in your head that you sometimes find it a bit more difficult to love.
Set a time aside each day to pray for that person for one week and ask God to show you how you can be loving to that person in what you say and do.
Maybe you could message that person to ask them how they are or, if it’s someone in your household, choose to spend some time with them and ask how they are feeling.
If it’s helpful for you, draw a heart on a piece of paper and inside the heart write down all of the ways that you think you could show God’s love to the people around you in the next week. Put this heart somewhere you will see as a reminder.

Choose one of the activities below to help you engage further with this week’s theme of ‘love one another’!
ACTIVITY 1
Get a piece of paper and colouring pens.
Think of one person in your life that you could show God’s love to this week.
Think of how you might want to show that love. You could send them a letter, call them and see how they are, make breakfast for your parents, help your brother or sister with homework.
ACTIVITY 2
Write the words (or numbers) One, Two, Three somewhere visible (on your phone lock-screen if you have one, or on post-it notes next to your bed).
Think about the decisions that you’ve made over the past week. How have you prioritised those decisions?
For decisions you make this week, keep a tally on these pieces of paper about how many were God-centred (one), how many were other people centred (two) and how many were centred on yourself (three).
