We have developed a whole range of resources to support teachers and youth workers who do outreach in schools. We believe that a good, holistic education is vital to enable young people to become valuable members of their community. It equips young people to achieve their full potential whilst at the same time enabling them to contribute positively to society.
Schools in Britain have the invaluable role of supporting the spiritual and moral development of their students. Each month, Youth for Christ centres across the country work with hundreds of young people of all faiths and none by contributing to many aspects of school life. This may be supporting RE and RME lessons, leading collective worship, running lunchtime or after school clubs. Oh, and did we mention chaplaincy? Many of our schools’ workers are fully chaplaincy trained, offering spiritual and wellbeing support to thousands of young people every week.
