What do you think it means to work with God/ to be partnering with Him?

What do you think his plan for the world is? How can we share that with our family and friends?

Why should we listen to the ‘director’? Have a look at 2 Corinthians 5:17-21

Is there anyone you’d like to share God’s story with? Anyone you’d like to invite to be part of the story?

PRAY:

Use a tablet, computer or perhaps a phone, and go to: www.bbc.co.uk/newsround

Have a look through some of the articles. As you look through, write down the ones that make you feel happy, the ones that make you feel sad and the ones that make you worried.

Tell God how these stories make you feel, and ask him to show you how you can help him to bring about what he wants for this situation. Ask him to show you what he wants to happen.

Pray for the people in the articles and pray that God might use you to help make a change. Pray that more people will be able to see his script and join in on his story through you.

DO:

Get a pen and piece of paper and write the name of or draw a picture of a close friend in the middle – someone who doesn’t know Jesus yet.

On one side of the paper write a list of things that happen in their life that you don’t think God would want to be part of their story. (bullying/ sadness/ loneliness/ afraid)

On the other side of their name/ picture, write a list of things that God might want to add into their story instead… happiness/ friendship etc.

Once you have done this, spend a few minutes thinking about how their story might be different if they came to know Jesus and understood what God wanted for their story. You may then want to spend a few minutes praying into these things and praying that they come to know Jesus.
