This Home Learning Project investigates the Incarnation. Students will explore its structure, how it is used and why it is so important to Christians.

Students will examine the evidence of Jesus’ life to find out the answer to two big questions:
Why do Christians believe in the incarnation of Jesus?
Was Jesus human or God? (Or, indeed, both?)

By the end of the project students will be able to describe what Incarnation is, and gain a thorough understanding of why Christians believe in the Incarnation of Jesus, and why it is important to their faith. They will be challenged to critically analyse the evidence and report back on what they have found.  This project should take around 4 hours to complete if the extension activities are attempted.

An editable PDF resource sheet is provided for students to record their research. The resource sheet is differentiated, with two levels to choose from. The ‘Stretch’ version is more challenging, it is advised that most students use this copy. The ‘Light’ version has pared down tasks and support, for example sentence starters and a partially completed task
