myLife is a portfolio of unique character based and life skills courses, each providing imaginative ways to develop and recognise young peoples’ achievements, building positive character traits and life skills through vocational rigor and challenges. It is a comprehensive and flexible toolkit for helping young people develop and personalise essential life, social and thinking skills, written for both 1:1 mentoring and small group work. Each individual accrediated course enables participants to gain the OCR qualification Intro to Living and Life Skills (20 hours), credits towards the ASDAN Bronze Award, or an internal Reflex Award Certificate.
“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy”
The programme has been designed to meet a range of needs, focusing on the young people in our society who are often classed as NEET – Not in Education, Employment or Training, those who are disengaged with learning and education, those with Special Educational Needs and those who seek to develop positive character traits to help support them in their development as a young person transitioning into adulthood.
