Swadlincote and District Youth for Christ are involved in schools work in local primary and secondary schools, taking part in lessons, mentoring, assemblies, lunch groups and running a Christian Union. We also offer lunch time support at the local construction college.
Twice a week we run detached work on two local housing estates. We have a strong presence in local churches, which we aim to support, and also receive support from. We are keen to engage with young people across the area in whatever appropriate ways we can. We partner with schools, churches and other organisations to offer opportunities to young people, but always try to keep Jesus at the centre of our work.
