On the 14th of June, a group of eager explorers, made up of Youth for Christ staff and supporters, reached the summit of ‘the rooftop of Africa’. Kilimanjaro is the world’s largest freestanding mountain. The team climbed the mountain over 6 days, climbing to the summit; 5,896 meters above sea level.

The group undertook this gruelling task to raise funds for Youth for Christ’s work throughout Britain; in schools, churches, prisons and housing estates. Youth for Christ are all about seeing young people’s lives changed by Jesus.
